Today we want to show you this outstanding Geroge Lynch Skull and Bones Guitar made by our great carving artist.  This is the most accurate replica of the original Skull and Bones guitar which J.Frog built in 1986 for George Lynch. This took a ton of research and test carves to get something that is this close. This version of the Bones guitar is all about extreme detail.  Not only is it historically accurate but the carve quality is absolutely unparalleled. George Lynch's Skull N Bones, or Mr. Scary, was originally designed by Mr. Johnny Garcia aka J Frog. Johnny was also a well respected makeup artist who did the makeup and FX for films such as Nightmare on Elm Street.
For this Geroge Lynch Skull and Bones guitar, we are using a whole piece of wood to make the body, it will ensure the strength and afford to the carfully hand carving on the wood body.  Our sculptors are very great at the details, you can see the very nice carving work shows on the photos.  Also the paintting and the finish are done very well. Not like other guitar makers who are using 2 piece jointed wood make the body and using  automatic wood carving machine to carving a thin top and stick on the body,  that really can reduce the costs and save lots of producing time, but after a while, the finsh are peeling easily and the wood body is easy to cracking. Also because our Geroge Lynch Skull and Bones guitars are hand carving by our sculptors, not by Auto carving machine ( machine carving will lost details and less 3D effect ), so the carving details are very  meticulous, the 3D effect, the ups and downs, the color gradient all bring out the very nuatuarl looking,

Compare our George Lynch Skull and Bones Guitar with others guitar, clearly see which one is better~

Johnny "J. Frog" Garcia is actually a gifted artist and creator, he conceived and built by far the most authentic George Lynch Skull N' Bones guitar, and he also created Mark Kendall's Great White Shark. Following constant sketching and talking over, the creator ultimately developed it with long time working hard and lots of times of in depth testing. The body was created based on warmouths alder body, a dual-coil pickups in bridge, normal strat tremolo, cherry made skull and bones. The shape of the bones was made out on the original wood. When frog handcrafted this instrument, he used antique white color expressing a rotten manner. John completely dropped in his personal innovative work, pulling out 1 of his teeth and setting up it on the place where appeared like a mouth on the electric guitar, and he even cut a handful of hair and stuck them on the skull.

We used a lot of time to learn the data of the authentic instrument and later-on replicas, to copy the specific guitar as best as we can. We picked alder in wood selection, exactly the same as the authentic guitar, but recently we got requirements from buyers who desire mahogany, so we offer 2 solutions. We installed on dual-coil pickups in bridge in accordance to the genuine guitar and made use of common Floyd licensed tremolo. The only difference between ours and the authentic guitar is that we cannot get Johns teeth and hair to mount on the instrument.

Since we created guitars with a smaller volume, the stock is limited. If you're enthusiastic about this particular guitar, please do not hesitate to make contact with us right away.

interested in the GL skeleton guitar. Saw Joe Killaby's guitar and that really peaked my interest. wondering how pricing is determined and how payment works. a few things I did notice though.... the pic of the one looks like its laying on a piece of wood or a stump or marble counter (not sure) looks very "cartoonish" to me. That is what I dont want. the very top pic is what I would be looking for, except for no gloss finish at all on anything, matte finish
