Our Replicated Manson MB-1 guitar
There are two kind of neck wood you can choose from, the normal maple neck or bird eye maple neck availabel now ! Our default seting is the normal maple neck, this choice suit for buyers who want to have more economical low cost option, but if you really like the Bird eye maple neck, please do not missing out, you only need put $40 more to upgrade the neck to this very beautiful, noble style bird eye maple neck, exactly sams as the original Manson MB-1.
This "Upgrade to bird eye maple neck" option in other custom shops, you might cost at least $100, if in a brand custom shop, it might cost you over $200 or even more. These Bird eye maple neck was special customized for our Manson MB-1 guitar replica, just for make our replica MB-1 maximum similare with the original MB-1. So the $40 is about the cost price, we have not put any profits on it. Please don't bargain with us again, it is really selling at the cost price !
About the original Manson MB-1 Guitar
In April 2009, Manson’s Guitar Shop announced that Matt Bellamy’s signature guitars would be available to the public under the MB-1 model name. Available in two colors (“Matt” black and glitter red) this guitar comes packed with all the features the nerd guitarist drools over.
The Manson MB-1 Signature is an extremely limited production model that incorporates many features of Matthew Bellamy's stage guitars all hand built by Hugh Manson. The model is a hybrid between the first MIDI equipped guitars and the latest versions, including the red glitter model named by the band's fans as 'Santa'. MB-1 models are produced, by request, in very limited numbers - so far there are only 54 instruments worldwide with a further 25 already sold for production in 2011. Each model is the ultimate statement combining useable technology together with classic luthery skills. Each body is solid alder, which combined with our classic soft V neck shape, compound radius fingerboard and custom MBK-2 pickups that combine a crunching riff-ready bridge pickup with a full P-90 neck configuration, you already have the basis for a stunning blues/rock/ alternative masterpiece. No wonder Guitarist magazine called it "beautifully crafted simplicity".

About Pickups
It is worth mentioning that the pickups we select are Wilkinson pickups. We have to admit that Wilkinson pickups are not as good as the original pickups. But they are more attractive in quality and price, saving much money for our customers. Most of our customers reflected the pickups are beyond their imagination, stable and reliable enough!
Of course! If you insist on the original pickups, and we can find them on the market, and can afford it. We are pleasant to install the original pickups for your guitars. But the price will be much higher than guitars with Willinson pickups. Be prepared!
