Firstly, Facts speak louder than words, here is a great review of the Ric 325 from our customer, it might help you to understand us more!
About the original Rickenbacker 325C58 MaplegloThe British Invasion of 1964 initiated a rise in popularity of the Rickenbacker 325c64. The Model 325C64 duplicates the Rickenbacker 325 as produced in 1964—complete with semi-hollow Maple body, re-shaped body and headstock, three vintage-style pickups, and Accent Vibrato. Offered in Jetglo finish.John Rehearsing for British TV show Ready Steady Go with the RickenbackerThis Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo is a discontinued model and, besides the color, is an exact replica of the one that John Lennon purchased in Hamburg, Germany in 1958. It is a short scale guitar, the scale length measuring 20.75". The semi hollow Alder body design produces a deep warm tone and is perfectly accented by the vintage single coil toaster top pickups. Other distinguishing features include an unfinished rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, gold anodized pickguard, vintage repro 6 saddle roller bridge and a mono output jack. The Rickenbacker 325 was the first of the Capri series of hollow body guitars released in 1958 by Rickenbacker, designed by Roger Rossmeisl, a guitar craftsman from a family of German instrument makers. Its production models were 20-3/4" short scale, dot inlays, and a small (12-3/4" wide) body. The body is unbound, semi-hollow, with 2 o'clock angled sound hole (re-issues lack a sound hole due to the Lennon connection), and boasts the "crescent moon"-style cutaways. This series is currently available only in "C" reissue form. These instruments gained prominence due to John Lennon's use of a 325 during the early years of The Beatles. John Lennon's 1958 model was among the very first batch made and has the pre-production feature of a solid top, i.e., no sound hole. All subsequent production short-scale 300-series Rickenbackers (310, 315, 320, 325) had sound holes until the late 1970s.If it's Cool Enough For John Lennon. It's Cool Enough For You and Me !!!Our Custom Made Rickenbacker 325C58 MaplegloWhat are your options if you want to go such an attractive Rickenbacker? Well, you can shell out a ton of cash for a vintage one or you can customize a new one. But if you don’t want to drop a ton of coin on a real Rickenbacker guitar, you can of course get a brand new copy of the Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo at a fraction of the price. In order to meet requirements of these who want a new Rickenbacker 325c58 guitar with much less money, we launched the Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo. Our guitar is a precise duplicate of the original Rickenbacker 325c58 guitar. They were replicated totally handmade and in accordance with the original construction and data, the form and measurements and all other parts are just the same as the original one.22 fret maybe a general parameter for guitars, but not for Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo. The Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo is 21 fret guitar, it has shorter neck and scale length. We did a good job on this point. The neck and fretboard was exact copy for the original Rickenbacker 325c64, others' just use a regulare 22 or 24 frets neck instead. The Rickenbacker 325C58 Mapleglo is set-in neck guitar, and the neck set in to the body very short, so that the neck has thicker heel and the neck pickup has placed in a very up position. We have made this part just like the original. None of others care about this point, but exactly as a seim-hollow guitar, the position of the pickups effects the sound.By the way, the original Rickenbacker 325c64 fretboard do not have any neck binding, but most of other copies put binding on, I am not sure it is looking better or not, but I am sure, too many changes, it will be not the John Lennon's Rickenbacker 325c64 any more.I don't know how they think, but some other copies just... how to say, they do not even follow the original guitar, they just do it without thinking, act on assumptions. Our hardwares are carefully choosen, source from different manufacturers, no one want to spend extra time on these tiny details, but we did for you.As for bridge and knobs ,some how~ one has the right bridge ,and anther one has the right knob style, etc ....but none of them make these things all right~~~~
