Crosby is famous for being Ratts axe-slinger, while Ratt is definitely an progressive and Significant hard rock band throughout 80s. 1986 Firebird Custom is Robbin's 4th Firebird, made just before Ratt's "Dancing Undercover" tour with a sn #1860. The guitar featured Floyd Rose tremolo, single volume control, Seymour Duncan JB pickup & unusual/uncommon reverse head with standard sharkfin inlay combination.This instrument was utilized in the early period of the Dancing Undercover tour. This guitar was came back to Charvel Guitars in Ontario, California for mending and the sn was modified to #RA-195. Mike Shannon, the great luthier of Charvel Guitars, fixed it. And on 6/4/87, the electric guitar was sent back to Robbin on time for his Japan tour.
We carefully learned this specific guitar and duplicated it in an inexpensive approach. The body wood, fingerboard wood and neck wood are the same with the original one.
