RAN Jeff Waters Annihilator custom-V

Rare Electric Guitar

This is 1 of 3 Annihilation Custom V guitars what were built for Jeff Water, which he auctioned off. This is not a production guitar; in fact this particular axe was owned and played by Jeff live, notably on the Masters of Rock 2008 DVD. This is a beautiful custom instrument and in well-maintained condition. A unique piece of metal history. Hand-signed by Jeff with DVD certificate of authenticity.

Jeff Waters' was positioned at number three in Joel McIver's book of 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists, and Epiphone have chosen to take the name of this new model from his heavy rocking band Annihilator.

The Annihilation Custom-V is built from solid mahogany with a deep-set, hand-fitted solid mahogany neck inlayed with Red or Silver Dot and Custom "Annihilator Devil" Acrylic Mother-Of-Pearl design. It's a Slim Taper, 24 fret, 'D; shape neck that will attract those who take their shredding seriously.

And, its pickups come in the form of the Annihilation acaustom-V features custom "JWT" (Jeff Waters Treble) and JWR (Jeff Waters Rhythm) 4-wire humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions respectively.

Over-wound and featuring a Ceramic-8 magnet, the JWT bridge humbucker delivers the grunt without losing the crystal clear highs. The JWR neck pickup features an Alnico-II magnet that provides vintage tone with great sustain and clarity along with the right combination of power and warmth. Together, these two little animals are sure to get the job done.

Besides, the master volume control is also a push/pull control allowing you to tap into each coil of the two humbuckers for a brighter, single-coil sound while keeping them noise-free. The 3-way toggle in combination with the coil-tapping allows you up to six different tonal combinations ranging from a one single-coil to full-on humbucker assault. Add to that, an easy to use momentary killbutton that cuts off the output for added effects and you've got a guitar that's ready for anything.
